Operation Helping Hands

  • Lake Eola Park 512 E Washington St. Orlando Fl (map)

The Outreachers society will be joining We Are Change to walk through downtown Orlando to hand out food, water, socks, shoes, blankets etc.

We will be meeting at Lake Eola Park. The part of the lake we will meet at is right next to the big amphitheater. The exact address is 512 E Washington St Orlando. This is the corner of Washington and Rosalind. We will have a couple carts and coolers to transport the food and clothes but if you plan on bringing a lot of stuff and have another cooler or cart, please do bring it!

All ages are welcome, don't hesitate to bring the whole family!

NO SIGN UP NECESSARY...JUST SHOW UP!!
DONATIONS WELCOME!!!

Please keep in mind that softer foods are preferred as some people have dental issues and can't handle a granola bar or apple.  Most individuals bring whatever they can to contribute packaged and ready to go such as lunch bags, or clothing and socks.  If you would like to make sandwiches with us, feel free! You may also drop off the donations.

Examples of what to bring:  Sandwiches (pb&j/turkey etc), bananas, oranges, apple sauce, bottled water, clothing, socks, shoes, blankets, towels, backpacks/bags, toothbrush, toothpaste, hygiene products etc.

SOCKS ARE THE MOST REQUESTED YET LEAST DONATED ITEM!!

It will be a very rewarding day surrounded by like-minded individuals. We hope to see you there!
